The Role of the Sales Estimator
- Take ownership of pricing complex healthcare and HVAC-related construction projects
- Liaise with design and estimation teams to analyse technical briefs and develop bid strategies
- Manage the tendering process including subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Produce clear and accurate tender submissions, cost reports, and project estimates
- Support procurement at project delivery stage, negotiating and placing purchase orders
- Conduct site visits to assess technical requirements and site conditions
- Play an active part in developing standard quote tools and internal estimating systems
- Provide insight to strengthen the supply chain and improve commercial workflows
The Ideal Person for the Sales Estimator
- Engineering-qualified or equivalent with 5+ years of estimating experience in HVAC or construction
- Background in delivering cleanroom, hospital, or lab projects is highly beneficial
- Well-versed in reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
