A manufacturer of specialist pharmaceuticals are currently seeking a QC Chemist to join the team at their site in Guildford. The role will involve the QC Testing of pharmaceutical products. This is an ideal opportunity if you are a graduate (MSc or BSc) of a relevant scientific discipline and have some working experience in an analytical/QC role in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Role OverviewPermanent Full time, predominantly night shifts. £33,450 starting salary. Routine Analysis of pharmaceutical products in line with cGMP and company standards.Utilise a range of analytical techniques and equipment including HPLC, GC, RTLC, LAL and Gamma Spectrometer , to name a few.Take part in maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment.Ensure all records and documentation are completed in line with relevant regulations and standards.RequirementsExperience of working in pharmaceutical QC is essential.Educated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant Analytical Chemistry related discipline is essential.Strong Practical Experience with HPLC, GC and TLC.Must be able to work shifts that are predominantly nights, and will include occasional weekend work.
