Job Title: Learning Support Assistant – SEN School – Chesterfield Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? Do you want to make a real difference in a rewarding role where no two days are the same? Provide Education are working on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Chesterfield to recruit Learning Support Assistants to join their dedicated team. We are a local education recruitment agency and we specialise in matching excellent staff to schools across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: * Support pupils with a range of special educational needs in the classroom and around school. * Assist with learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher. * Provide personal care and emotional support where required. * Help manage behaviour in a positive and supportive way. * Encourage pupils to achieve their best and develop independence. What We’re Looking For * Experience of working with children or young people (school, childcare, care, or youth work experience all considered). * Patience, resilience and a positive approach. * A passion for supporting pupils with SEN. * Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different needs. Pay & Benefits * Β£80 – Β£95 per day (depending on experience) * Weekly pay through our agency. * Access to CPD training and safeguarding support. * Long-term, short-term and supply opportunities available. * Support from a friendly, local SEN recruitment consultant.
