This is an all-encompassing Financial Property Accountant role for someone who loves variety, ownership, and adding real value. You\’ll be the go-to person managing accounts, payroll, and cashflow across multiple property entities.

Description

  • Input purchase invoices and prepare payment runs for authorisation
  • Manage VAT submissions, tax payments, and Option to Tax applications
  • Maintain rent income records and reconcile with estate agents
  • Produce quarterly management accounts and 12-month rolling cashflows
  • Liaise with estate agents, tenants, insurers, and external accountants
  • Handle year-end submissions, tax returns, and reconciliations
  • Oversee two monthly payrolls including HMRC and pension uploads
  • Maintain staff records including pay, leave, sickness, and pensions
  • Attend quarterly finance meetings with trustees and agents
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support to managers and directors

Profile

  • Proven experience in property or SME accounting
  • Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll, and cashflow forecasting
  • ACCA, ACA, ICEW qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Experience with payroll software and Excel proficiency
  • Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deadlines
  • Flexible and proactive, with a \”roll your sleeves up\” attitude
