Neighbourhood Response Officer 📍 12-week contract | £23.57 LTD per hour I’m currently working with a leading housing provider who are looking for an experienced Neighbourhood Response Officer to join their team on a temporary 12-week contract. As a Neighbourhood Response Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring neighbourhoods are safe, clean, and places residents are proud to live. You’ll work closely with residents, local partners, and internal teams to maintain high standards across estates and provide support to tenants when needed. Key Responsibilities: Carry out regular estate inspections, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards are met. Investigate tenancy breaches and address anti-social behaviour in collaboration with external partners. Engage with resident groups to support community initiatives and neighbourhood improvements. Liaise with internal departments to coordinate estate management and local offers. Conduct tenancy viewings, sign-ups, and tenancy assignments. Attend court hearings, evictions, and stay hearings as required. Support vulnerable residents and assess tenancy sustainment needs. Assist with major incidents and the decanting of tenants where necessary.Ideal Candidate: Strong background in housing, neighbourhood management, or tenancy services. Confident communicator with experience dealing directly with residents and external partners. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of ASB procedures and tenancy management best practices.
