My client, one of the top 10 Wealth Managers in the UK are seeking a Diploma Qualified Paraplanner to join their team in Glasgow.

Actively supporting the Wealth Planners your duties will include;

  • Carrying out high quality research on a full range of financial planning products and services including pensions, life insurance, tax planning and investment management
  • Undertake accurate calculations and cash-flow modelling where needed to support recommendations.
  • Prepare suitability reports and letters for the Wealth Planners to provide their recommendation
  • Draft and co-ordinate technical documents and research for client presentation.
  • Take initiative to maintain technical knowledge and expertise keeping updated on developments and movements in the financial markets and industry.

To be considered for this role you will already be providing a first-class paraplanning service as well as having experience in all Financial Planning practices and disciplines including Investments, Pensions and Protection, gaining experience of dealing with more complex areas of financial planning advice. You must also have achieved your Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.

There is potential for this role to move into an advisory role – with full training and support –should the individual choose to develop their career in that direction.
