The Role

  • Manage, respond to and resolve all AV and meeting room equipment related incidents and problems
  • Installation, configuration and management of AV related equipment’s
  • Liaising with 3rd party Vendors to resolve the issues
  • Designing AV solutions to meet the business requirements
  • Ensuring latest AV technology is reviewed in keeping with business requirements and implemented where required
  • You are also required to work with / assist projects team with technical issues in the initiation, planning and execution phases of different IT related projects to make sure that the projects are delivered in-time and as per expectations
  • Maintaining agreed SLA levels and assuring Quality of delivery at all times

Key responsibilities:

  • In Depth and proven experience of Audio/Video equipment
  • Possess a valid UK driving license as there will be requests to support nearby Satellite sites
  • Proven experience in handling Microsoft Teams Room equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of Speaker systems and Amps, Biamp methods, Triamp methods
  • Excellent knowledge of Extron and Harmen AV Control Systems, Display Screens and Projectors
  • Good understanding of Video and Audio: Formats, Connections, Cabling, Standards, Distance, Wireless inc Security protocols
  • Good understanding of Effect processors: compressors, Delays, limiters, feedback eliminators.
  • Good knowledge of Windows, MS Office and Max platform
  • Good knowledge of Networking basics and AV Internet connectivity
  • Excellent Communication skills and good personality

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Experience within a large complex department/organisation with AV environment
  • Exteron accreditation preferred
  • Ability to understand the Business from a user perspective
  • Works collaboratively with a range of people and different departments to support the wider business agenda
  • Proactively takes responsibility, owns any issues arising and follows through to resolve them (get the required result)
  • Has Made customer-oriented decisions and shares great stories of exceptional customer service
  • Proven focus on identifying and documenting User and Service Risks and Issues.
  • Ability to co-ordinate incident resolution activity within and across IT teams, to ensure actions are completed within timescales
