Interim Commercial Manager – Foodservice Home Based Nottingham £(Apply online only) per day inside IR35 This business has a heritage and brand to be proud of. Successful in multiple channels they now need an experienced commercial candidate to join the team to work on developing a new channel for the business and to support on other projects. There has been some progress in this channel but it's early days and this project will need an experienced OOH foodservice commercial specialist to map out the target customer base, plan the process for the next few months and turn that plan into reality. There will be projects in the commercial function further down the line – this opportunity needs someone who is comfortable being involved, able to strategically plan and deliver new business being hands-on and proactive so that there are tangible results in the long term. With long standing relationships and a brand to be proud of, you will be joining a motivated and switched on team. The SLT are well engaged right across every function of the business and commercial is no different. The business has some exciting and creative projects in the pipeline that will have a significant impact and this role is all part of that process. What is involved in the Interim Commercial Manager role? Creating the new business plan for the channel. Taking the lead role in the initial contact for the future delivery of that new customer base. Drawing on your commercial expertise and knowledge of the foodservice OOH market to bring a strategic and involved approach to the assignment. Work closely with New Product Development and Marketing teams. Prepare budgets in line with the P&L for this area of the commercial plan. Work closely with the Commercial Director and the wider commercial team. Take the lead role in future commercial OOH projects. Home based contract with one day per week to work alongside the team. What does your background look like? Foodservice commercial background, ideally with OOH experience. Strong network in the foodservice sector. The ability and energy to onboard new customers and drive growth with proven, evidence backed examples. Ambitious, able to integrate well with internal teams and embed into the culture of the business. Be a strong, upbeat communicator with outstanding presentation skills. Analytically competent, able to interpret data. Managerial experience in a previous commercial career.
