Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

North East

£39,000 + Package

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider, supporting a major transport contract across the North East region. This is a mobile role covering a range of sites including offices, depots, stations, and sidings. You’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites
  • Complete Fixed Wire Testing and associated remedial works
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records via the CAFM system
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
  • Provide regular updates on job progress to clients and colleagues
  • Support wider team activities, including risk assessments and inspections when required
  • Contribute to a positive and professional working environment

About You

You’ll be a reliable, self‑motivated engineer with a strong background in electrical maintenance and testing, comfortable managing your own workload and working independently.
