You are reliable, punctual, and comfortable using various cleaning equipment. Previous experience in a cleaning role is beneficial but not required as full training will be provided.

What the Job Involves

As a School Cleaner at St. Margarets RC Primary, you will be responsible for cleaning all internal areas of the school. This includes daily cleaning tasks in designated areas such as toilets, corridors, staff rooms, classrooms, school halls, indoor sports areas, changing rooms, offices, and communal areas. Your duties involve sanitising toilets, sinks, soap dispensers, hand dryers, cubicles, and pipework; vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping rooms and communal areas; cleaning skirting boards, window sills, and hard furnishings; sanitising shower areas and cubicles in sports/changing rooms; sanitising sinks, work surfaces, and floors in staff rooms; and emptying waste bins throughout the building. The use of a scrubber dryer machine may be required in some areas. The position is 15 hours per week, with work hours from 3 pm to 6 pm on weekdays.
