Location: Kent
Salary: 30,000 + Commission
Working Days/Hours: Tuesday-Saturday – 8.00am to 4.00pm

The Opportunity

KBB Recruitment are representing a reputable kitchen showroom in their search for a creative and customer-focused Kitchen Designer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a design-led showroom environment, engaging directly with retail customers to create stunning, functional kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and consult with showroom visitors, understanding their needs and lifestyle
• Create bespoke kitchen designs using CAD software
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients with clarity and confidence
• Provide accurate quotations and manage the sales process from initial consultation through to final design approval
• Stay up to date with current design trends, products, finishes, and appliances
• Ensure a smooth customer journey with clear communication and attention to detail throughout
• Liaise with suppliers, installers, and internal teams to ensure project delivery

Requirements

• Experience in a showroom kitchen design role
• Proficient in kitchen design software (e.g. Compusoft Winner, AutoCAD)
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Excellent eye for design, spatial planning, and attention to detail
• Confident in presenting to clients and managing the full design process
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Full UK driving licence preferred
