Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (FMCG / Electrical Training)£40,000 – £44,000 + Progression + Training + Company Benefits + Overtime + Days BasedPontefractAre you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar with an FMCG / Packaging machinery background looking to work for a market leading contract packaging company who work with a range of household name brands and can provide training to upskill you into a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer?On offer is the opportunity to join one of the biggest food packaging companies in the UK who work with big clients such as Nestle and Rowntrees. They have been established for over 30 years and are looking to bolster their ranks with a new Maintenance Engineer.This role will involve maintenance of the factories machinery, specifically equipment related to food packaging such as multi headed weighers and baggers. You will be assisting with the PPM schedules, reacting to breakdowns and generally keeping the factory in great condition.This role would suit a Mechnical Maintenance Engineer or similar with a Packaging / FMCG background or similar looking to work for an industry leading company who can supply a host of company benefits, progression within the company and a training courses and qualifications.The Role

• Carrying out PPM schedule
• Reacting to breakdowns
• Help train apprentices
• Monday to Friday days based shifts
• Weekly alternating shifts 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm

The Person

• Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar
• FMCG background
• Commutable to Pontefract
