Security Engineers – Commissioning & Install / Small Works Positions Available: Commissioning Engineer Install / Small Works Engineers Salary: £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Location: London & Southeast Company Vehicle: Provided About the Role We are seeking experienced Security Engineers to join our client\’s expanding team. With opportunities available for both Commissioning and Install / Small Works Engineers, this is an excellent chance to work on enterprise-level projects and small works across London and the Southeast. Our client delivers integrated security solutions across a wide range of sites, and these roles will see you working with leading technologies in access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and more. Responsibilities Install, commission, and support enterprise-level security systems, including Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Intercoms. Deliver small works projects and assist with quotations, specifications, and documentation. Commission and handover systems to a high technical standard, ensuring client satisfaction. Diagnose and resolve technical faults promptly. Work to NSI standards, producing all required documentation and ensuring compliance. Collaborate with clients, project teams, and colleagues to deliver solutions within agreed timescales and budgets. (Commissioning role) Lead on system commissioning, handover, and technical sign-off. (Install / Small Works roles) Carry out high-quality installations and contribute to the design and delivery of small works projects.Requirements Strong experience across all key security disciplines: Access Control, Intruder, CCTV, and Intercoms (essential). Fire Alarms knowledge – basic (install roles) to mid-level (commissioning role). Experience working at an enterprise level within the security industry (essential). Familiarity with systems such as Galaxy, ACT, Cathexis, and Milestone (preferred). Experience producing specifications, quotations, and project documentation. Knowledge of NSI requirements and compliance processes. Project management experience (desirable, not essential). Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
