An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a team of forward-thinking clinicians in a progressive practice located in the charming coastal town of Eastbourne. The Role: The successful candidate will work in a well-equipped practice that boasts advanced facilities such as video gastroscopy/bronchoscopy, dental radiography, tonopen, slit lamp, and an extensive in-house lab. The practice has a large clinical team with a supportive culture, which encourages the sharing of ideas, case discussions, and learning of new skills. It is also a VetsNow host practice, ensuring no overnight work and excellent overnight inpatient care. The Hours: The role offers a balanced work schedule, with 40 hours spread over 4 days, including 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday (half day) in an 8-weekend rota. Time off in lieu is provided following a working weekend. Candidate: The client is looking for a candidate who is ideally a certificate holder or currently studying for a certificate. This role is a first opinion, small animal role where case continuity and high-quality care is encouraged.
