Plant Maintenance Supervisor Our client, a leading engineering and manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Norwich are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage the maintenance of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This is a full time, permanent position, based in Wymondham. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain plant and equipment to the highest standards to maximise production within the facility * Plan and deliver a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to ensure the facility\ās infrastructure, equipment, and utilities remain in excellent working condition. * Working with specialist equipment and processes the Plant Maintenance Supervisor will be key to ensuring the manufacturing process runs smoothly from start to finish. * Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers for routine and emergency repairs. * Carry out and support the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines and specialised carbon component production machinery. * Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime through effective equipment scheduling and maintenance. * Provide guidance and support to team members * Contribute positively towards engineering and manufacturing challenges * Ensure all company procedures including Health & Safety are adhered to, promoting a culture of safety within the facility and enforcing safety policies and procedures. * Keep up to date with all Health & safety, and industry regulatory knowledge and updates Qualifications/Competencies: * Qualification in Plant Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). * Experience of leading a multiskilled team within a manufacturing or production environment. * Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, and maintenance practices. * Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise resource * Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes is an advantage Desirables * Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic / vacuum and electrical control systems * Familiarity with Autoclaves within the Carbon Fibre industry. * Experience of welding, CNC machine tools, grinders, band saws, drills, hand tools etc. What we offer: * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate team in the composites industry. * A culture of innovation and continuous improvement. * Room for career growth and development.
