We are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Trainer to join our team, working to a hybrid model and delivering training remotely and in our Crawley office, and later on, our London offices.

As a Teaching Assistant Trainer , you will design and deliver training to learners aiming to qualify as Teaching Assistants based in Crawley and London. Your role is to ensure the programmes are interactive and engaging while adhering to Ofsted and other relevant quality frameworks. You will provide classroom-based workshops supported by 1:1 and group study sessions to enable learners to achieve their Teaching Assistant qualification and gain positive career progression within their organisations .

Your impact:

  • Programme Design: Work closely with the Operational Manager, and Quality Manager to design a programme that meets the needs of all stakeholders, including employers.
  • Interactive Learning: Create work-based scenarios with employers that challenge and develop learners’ skills and knowledge across relevant modules.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver training to the required standard to learners in groups and individually both on-site and remotely.
  • Assessment: Set and mark assignments accurately within required timescales, providing developmental feedback to learners.
  • Timely Completion: Ensure all learners complete work to the correct standard and within the timeframes for timely course completion.
  • Observation: Maintain an effective delivery grade at each observation.
  • CPD Maintenance: Maintain pedagogical and vocational CPD relevant to the programme.
  • Compliance: Ensure all delivery and marked coursework comply with the standards set by the awarding organisation.
  • Attendance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of learners\’ attendance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the operational lead and quality team to continuously improve the provision.
  • Career Support : Support learners throughout the programme to achieve positive career progression outcomes.

Who we seek:

  • Experienced Trainer: Proven experience in delivering Leadership and Management Training at Level 3 and above.
  • Quality Focused: Commitment to providing high-quality delivery and understanding of Ofsted requirements.
  • Excellent Communicator: Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels internally and externally.
  • Organised: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Qualified: Must hold a teaching or trainer qualification at a minimum of Level 3. An additional assessing qualification is desirable.
  • Desirable Background: A background as a teaching assistant is desirable.
