My client is a multi disciplinary professional services consultancy providing structural and civil engineering design across the UK. Their project portfolio is very diverse ensuring a steady workflow throughout the year and includes social housing providers, heritage managers, industrialists, educational establishments and power generators.
They are looking for an experienced Revit technician to support the building structures team. The team provides high end technical support on both new build and refurbishment projects.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team and contribute to the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit
- Prepare engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information
- Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes
- Use BIM technologies to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender and construction
- Manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration.
Experience / skills and education required
- Ideally gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Demonstrable experience in Building Structures as a Revit Technician in the building structures sector
- Advanced Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Experience in working with digital platforms, (Not essential, training will be provided)
