We are offering a full-time opportunity for a Trainee Scaffolder (Labourer) to join our team in Leeds. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone who is ready to learn and commit to a skilled trade. For the right person, it is the first step on a long-term career path in scaffolding with structured training, a clear progression route, and full support along the way. The Role As a Trainee Scaffolder, you will start by supporting our team on site with general labouring tasks while you learn the trade from the ground up. You will gain hands-on experience with the Layher system scaffold, working alongside experienced scaffolders who’ll show you the ropes. Typical duties include: Assisting scaffolders on-site with loading/unloading Layher equipmentKeeping the work area tidy, organised, and safeLearning the key components of the Layher system scaffoldFollowing instructions and site safety protocolsWorking outdoors in all weather conditions Training & Career Progression This isn’t just a labouring job, it’s your gateway to a skilled trade career. You’ll start with the Layher BASE qualification as soon as possible (an industry-recognised introduction to safe Layher system use). From there, we’ll fully fund your training to CISRS Part 1 and Part 2, and beyond. We cover all training costs and fees.
