Salford Business School is looking for an Associate Professor of Circular Economy to join our growing community to lead and effect real-world change through academic excellence and interdisciplinary research leadership at Salford Business School. Reporting directly to the Professor of Circular Economy and Subject Group Head, this role represents one of several positions aimed at building a powerful interdisciplinary research team of developing market and organisation studies, entrepreneurship, information systems and supply chain management scholars.

This is an exciting time to join the University, as we continue to grow and leverage our collaborative expertise to enrich the lives of our students, stakeholders and local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Make a significant contribution to the University’s returns to national research assessment exercises (REF)
  • Play a lead role in the development of an innovative and dynamic academic environment bringing tangible benefits and impacts for groups and organisations outside the higher education sector
  • Develop and disseminate collaborative research outputs of international standing in your discipline, and across the disciplines collaborating on the circular economy/sustainable business futures research programmes
  • Develop and lead research/commercial projects and collaborative partnerships with other higher education institutions and organizations in the UK and internationally.
