Title: Graduate Project Co-ordinator (Must be educated to degree level in a Technology, Project or Engineering related discipline)

With offices in the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA, our client has extensive experience of working with some of the largest commercial maritime operators such as Teekay, NYK and MOL.

With over 50 years of experience in the government and maritime mobility markets, our client employs over 200+ with over 40% of its company consisting of highly specialised engineers.

Role :

  • Collaborate with the Senior Commercial Bid and Programme Manager to roll out and support the project implementation and ongoing management of our client\’s projects
  • Ensure that projects progress smoothly through the company and according to agreed timescales
  • Assist in the production and ongoing management of high-quality documentation including Project Management Plans, Risk Registers, Project Schedules and other project documentation
  • Maintain financial records of all projects
  • Produce monthly financial reports to the Senior Commercial Bid and Programme Manager
  • Conduct internal review meetings with the Project Managers, Senior Commercial Bid and Programme Manager
  • Support the Senior team leaders through undertaking any other project management duties that may be required

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in a Technology, Project or Engineering related discipline
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Must enjoy being hands on and being able to work with your own initiative
  • Experienced in standard office applications including VISIO, Excel and Project
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
  • Ideally, you\’ll have experience with Prince 2, however this is not essential
