What You Will Do
Johnson Controls is hiring a Fire Alarm Service Engineer for an on-site role at a nuclear facility in the Southwest of the UK. We are seeking a candidate with strong experience in fire alarm systems and a willingness to learn and train towards gas suppression qualifications. You will join a dedicated team responsible for the servicing and maintenance of fire detection and gas suppression systems, with a strong focus on safety and compliance with site standards. Daily client interaction is required to ensure smooth operations and adherence to nuclear site protocols.

How You Will Do It
• Service and maintain fire detection systems, with training provided to support development in gas suppression systems
• Complete on-site documentation accurately
• Attend mandatory training specific to nuclear sites
• Liaise with clients to obtain permits to work
• Occasionally support with mechanical and passive fire protection tasks
• Provide on-call cover on a rotating weekly basis
• Promptly identify and report health and safety concerns
• Adhere to site-specific quality and safety standards
• Represent Johnson Controls with professionalism, accountability, and inclusivity
