Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons are inclusive and differentiated
- Use innovative teaching methods to motivate and challenge students of all abilities
- Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to whole-school improvement
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters achievement and enthusiasm for learning
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Mathematics
- Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- We welcome applications from both experienced Maths Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to develop their skills and gain valuable classroom experience.
