Covanburn Contracts are a specialist civil engineering, heritage conservation and rail contractor with expertise and experience working across a number of different industries and sectors.
This is your chance to step into the heart of a buzzing business and learn everything you need to know about office life. As a Digital Office Apprentice, you'll be helping out across a range of departments – like HR, finance, operations, and on-site projects – keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
- Being first responder to answering calls, directing as required or taking detailed messages if recipient is unavailable.
- Communicating daily with employees and clients, supporting the Business Manager with the smooth daily running of the organisation.
- Maintenance of the reception mailbox, directing or replying to emails as necessary.
- Utilizing Microsoft 365, using Word for drafting letters and quotes, Excel for reporting and PowerPoint for creating internal presentations.
- Using collaborative tech such as internal drive to access company docs.
- Becoming systems expect of HR system by completing holiday reports, logging on calendar and submitting
- Daily vehicle tracker checks completion and reporting of issues to management.
- Completion of weekly return tracker and issuing of updates to management.

Salary: £16,000 – £18,000 per annum.
Working week: Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm, 3:30pm finish on Friday.
