We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a team in Southwest Donegal and drive the success of a busy grocery store. About the Role As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the store, ensuring customers receive outstanding service and a high-quality fresh food offering at all times. You will play a key role in achieving sales and profitability targets through strong leadership, operational excellence, and a motivated team. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the smooth running of daily store operations; • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment; • Set, monitor, and achieve sales and profitability targets, including gross profit margin, net margin, and waste reduction; • Ensure exceptional store presentation and merchandising in line with brand guidelines; • Manage employee scheduling, rostering, and leave records; • Actively engage with the Store Owner to drive business performance; • Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently; • Implement store planograms and ensure optimal product range; • Maintain strong communication and teamwork across all levels. What we’re looking for • Minimum 2 years’ + experience in a retail management role; • Strong knowledge of KPIs, targets, and actioning reports; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); • Excellent communication and delegation skills; • A highly driven individual with a strong work ethic; • Passion for grocery retail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
