About You as PR Executive:
We’re looking for a PR & Communications Executive or Senior Executive to join our growing in-house team. This new role has been created as part of our business expansion and will support the Head of PR in the day-to-day running of the comms function. You’ll help deliver media relations, internal updates, awards and events activity, and corporate communications, while working closely with the wider marketing team and Board of Directors. This is a hands-on role focused on building brand visibility and aligning comms activity with business goals. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating content that informs and engages, and who’s ready to grow with the role. The role also offers an option for remote working opportunity for candidates based in London.
Key Responsibilities of the PR Executive:
- Support media outreach: manage press activity, update media lists, handle enquiries, monitor news, and prepare materials
- Track media coverage and flag any reputational risks
- Support PR campaigns, testimonials, announcements, and maintain the comms calendar
- Assist with PR to support SEO and backlinking activity
- Oversee the CEO & Founder\’s social media presence to ensure it aligns with comms goals
- Write and share regular internal news updates, especially for sales teams
- Track and share relevant industry news, whitepaper, reports, and trends across departments
- Manage day-to-day admin: trackers, planners, calendars, and reporting
- Keep the PR calendar up to date with awards, events, speaker opportunities, and networking activity
As PR Executive You’ll Be Great If You Have:
- 2–3 years of experience in-house or agency, ideally in B2B tech, SMEs, finance, or start-ups industry
- Solid understanding of the UK media landscape, existing contacts are a bonus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
