Role Overview:
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in ensuring all dishes meet our high standards. You will take ownership of the kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence, maintain quality by using specified ingredients, and assist in training and developing the kitchen team. Your responsibilities include controlling wastage, maintaining food costs, and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Head Chef during service for timing and progress of dishes
- Take responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
- Ensure quality by using specified ingredients
- Assist in training and developing the kitchen brigade
- Control wastage and maintain food costs
- Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Operate various kitchen sections as directed
- Foster a positive relationship between the Restaurant and Kitchen teams

- Proven experience as a Senior or Sous Chef
