SAVA seeks a talented Machine Vision Systems Engineer to take ownership of the architecture, implementation, and validation of automated vision systems for manufacturing quality control.
SAVA is currently utilizing Cognex Designer, paired with multiple bespoke semi-automated imaging stations, to dimensionally measure critical elements of manufacturing process steps throughout the production cycle. These systems combine product metadata with specific dimensional measurements, feeding into a robust data pipeline that supports critical quality control and developmental analysis.
SAVA aims to significantly enhance its automated machine vision infrastructure within the manufacturing line. This includes developing scalable solutions ranging from pilot manufacturing systems (small, development-systems) to high-volume production systems and their associated infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Vision Hardware and System Design

Specify and procure vision hardware, including sensors, lenses, and lighting.

Collaborate with automation teams to design mechanical solutions for inspection stations.

Programming and Integration

Develop user interfaces and imaging recipes for inspection systems.

Program interfaces between PC/controller/camera/light and other system components.

Data Management

Implement data naming, storage, and upload strategies to ensure traceability and accessibility.

Define and deploy high-volume manufacturing solutions for vision system integration.
