We are looking for a passionate Hospitality Operations Manager to join our award-winning hospitality team at a B&I site in Canary Wharf, located at E14 5EY. The salary is £41,560 per annum, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Purpose

  • Organize and control all aspects of the hospitality catering operation in line with strategic growth and profitability plans.
  • Manage and control all aspects of the business within budgetary guidelines, complying with client, company, and statutory regulations.
  • Engage proactively with customers and adapt offerings to maximize revenue.
  • Develop and train a motivated team of 10-15 staff, including 7 direct reports, focused on customer service and contractual requirements.
  • Forecast business areas, highlight risks to profit targets, and share successes to maximize group profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and fire regulations at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene according to regulations.
  • Ensure team members wear appropriate dress or uniforms.
  • Promote staff health and wellbeing.
  • Act upon all company and client contracts in the best interest of the business.
  • Provide financial and operational performance reports as required.
  • Maintain a positive and helpful attitude throughout working hours.
  • Follow recognized company procedures outlined in manuals.
  • Seek new business opportunities and improve overall service delivery.
  • Ensure food production meets high quality and service standards, incorporating current trends and commodities.
  • Coordinate team efforts to deliver high-standard service daily.
