The Role…
The Fixed Asset Accountant position is a newly created role to help the Finance team execute an exciting new ERP project. This role will sit in our UK Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance. This role is a 12 Month, FTC.
Main responsibilities include:
- Data cleansing of current data for migration to new ERP system
- Fixed Asset register reconciliations
- Attending workshops to support the effectiveness of the migration
- Support the Finance Manager with Fixed Asset migration, drilling into categories and classifications.
- Analysing and interrogating large volumes of data
- Support in Mapping current asset register to new ERP system requirements
- UAT testing in the new ERP system
- Support the Internal Audit team with updating Sox Risk Controls matrix for FAR controls
- Support the Project Management and Finance team throughout the Finance Transformation Project with ad hoc duties
What we look for…
- You will likely be CIMA/ACCA part qualified with 2+ years of experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced multi-site business or comparable experience in a large accounting practice with a hands-on approach
- Technical knowledge of UK GAAP and Fixed Asset Management
- Strong analytical and reconciliations skills
- Project Management Experience
- Advanced Excel skills and ideally experience with Sage Accounts package
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Organised and methodical
