- Supporting junior team members and contributing to national team development.
- Participating in practice-wide business development and sector initiatives.
- Reviewing complex VAT returns prepared on behalf of clients.
- Contributing to the firm’s thought leadership and knowledge-sharing efforts.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical grounding in UK VAT, with cross-sector advisory experience.
- Expertise in land and property VAT issues is highly desirable.
- A commercial, practical approach and strong communication skills, able to explain complex issues clearly to both clients and non-VAT specialists.
- Confidence in managing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Previous experience of mentoring or managing others within a team.
- A proactive, collaborative working style and willingness to contribute to the firm’s growth initiatives.
What’s on Offer
- Salary range: £60,000 – £75,000 depending on experience.
- Flexible hybrid working (35-hour week with core hours from 10 am to 4 pm).
- Generous benefits package including:
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
- Contributory pension scheme
- Profit-sharing scheme and discretionary bonus eligibility
- Life assurance, family-friendly policies, and a suite of flexible benefits
- A genuinely inclusive and people-first culture, with a strong focus on collaboration, diversity, and professional excellence.
Next Steps:
If you\’re a VAT specialist looking to take the next step in a dynamic and supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a progressive team where your technical expertise and commercial insight will be genuinely valued.
