Job Description
Site Reliability Engineer – London
Are you passionate about keeping critical platforms running smoothly? Do you thrive in high-uptime, fast-moving environments? We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in London.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensuring our platforms stay operational – we’re the final line of defence.
- Working on a hybrid model.
- Participating in an on-call rotation (1 week per month, including weekends) – our busiest time.
- Managing and maintaining physical servers where needed.
- Deploying infrastructure with Terraform, focusing on EKS clusters and Kubernetes services in AWS (no Azure – now or ever).
- Working with Puppet (preferred) or Ansible for configuration management.
- Supporting JVM-based applications (Scala) with build tools like Maven, SBT, etc.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with physical servers.
- Strong Terraform skills, especially in AWS/Kubernetes provisioning.
- Familiarity with Puppet (or willingness to learn).
- Hands-on experience with JVM-based applications.
- Interest or background in sports data or bookmaking is a plus!
