The Role
This role will lead Pepperstone’s global localization strategy, driving the implementation of tools and processes to support internationalisation (i18n) across key markets. Working closely with product, engineering, marketing, and support teams, the role ensures all content and product experiences are accurately localized, quality assured, and aligned with regional needs. Ideal candidates will have experience in global tech or finance, strong project management skills, and expertise in localization tools and workflows.
As our Localization Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute a localisation strategy and roadmap.
- Explore and integrate technical solutions to support Pepperstone’s i18n efforts. Test possible tools and technologies to enable the company to achieve its goals. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure localisation requirements are integrated into the product development process.
- Manage software localization and QA projects from the design and building of systems that support our product releases in our regional markets, and maintaining this software project.
- Develop and implement processes to increase efficiency, and manage cost and time to market for localised versions.
- Lead meetings and work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, product owners, internal reviewers, engineers, marketers, and others across the company. You will facilitate communication of localisation requirements, share insights, resolve any issues and ensure that we operate in line with our overall localization strategy.
- Manage translation projects for product, marketing campaigns, CRM, e-mails, and web content, oversee localisation and QA workflow, and make sure that every deadline is being kept.
- Share best practices and evangelise our localisation efforts.
- Review, prioritise, and track the resolution of bugs that affect localised product content quality and functionality.
- Together with your teammates, research and incorporate industry best practices and innovation into our localisation and translation strategy.
About You
- Candidate should have experience working at an international company and global market business with a diverse workforce
- Ideally a background in IT or software related content translation, QA experience, product and UX
- Seasoned project/product management experience with proven track record of delivering projects
- Familiarity with CAT and UI localization softwares and tools (MemQ, Trados, Lokalise, Phrase etc.)
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in crypto, tech, or finance industries
- Fluency in both English and multi-lingual experience in key languages: Arabic, Russian, Mandarin and any others
- Strong problem solving skills to investigate and debug difficult problems
- Strong organizational skills and communication skills
- Detail oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with passion for quality
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally ad hoc
- Ability to work effectively across timezones
