Your Role
As Deputy General Manager, you’ll work alongside the General Manager to lead the team and run the day-to-day operation of the pub. You’ll be responsible for:
- Inspiring and leading a motivated front-of-house team
- Ensuring exceptional guest experiences, every time
- Supporting in all areas: People, Sales, Operations, and Profit
- Driving standards through training, coaching, and development
- Overseeing budgets, stock control, and labour forecasting
- Maintaining compliance across health & safety and audits
Who are we looking for?
You’ll be a passionate leader with a hospitality heart and business head:
- Proven experience in a similar management role
- Hospitality background, ideally with premium pubs or restaurants
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Commercially savvy – able to analyse and act on business performance
- Hands-on, calm under pressure, and obsessed with great guest service
- Right to work in the UK is essential
