Site Manager
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week, full year and permanent (Mon Thurs 10.00 am 6.30 pm / Fri 10.00 am 6.00 pm)
Start date: Aug / Sept
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Site Manager to work in our inclusive school.
The successful candidate will:
Support the Headteacher and Business Manager in providing high standards for the children at the school.
Have high expectations and standards in all areas.
Be willing to operate the electronic energy management system.
Be responsible for the security of the school premises and its contents.
Undertake general repairs.
Undertake adhoc and routine cleaning duties around the school.
Comply with Health & Safety requirements and other relevant legislation.
Carry out fire alarm checks and maintain appropriate records.
Conduct regular checks of the school grounds.
Be responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to and from the school, particularly in adverse weather conditions (e.g., clearing snow, gritting etc).
Be able to work confidently in a primary school setting.
Be approachable on a professional level.
Be aware and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, security and confidentiality.
Other duties as outlined in the job description.
Be flexible with their hours to cover absences and complete projects on extra hours.
Take holiday entitlement during the school holidays.
