Purpose of the role

To lead the creation of exceptional strategic creative solutions on our diverse selection of projects across the luxury sector.

Responsibilities

Strategic planning and developmentWorking as a strategic project lead alongside Head of Strategy, Creative and Client Services teams

Collaborate with in-house and client teams to deliver full service strategy requirements including but not limited to brand audits, brand positioning, tone of voice, copywriting, naming, communications, and campaign strategy.

Lead discovery sessions with clients to understand and distil their brief and scope.

Carry out in-depth research and analysis to develop strategy-led solutions which respond to the client’s needs.

Translate strategic foundations into a clear framework and communicating this to the design team for them to develop into thoughtful and considered creative solutions.

Oversee projects through to completion, supporting the design team in ensuring strategic vision is upheld throughout the project journey.

Translate strategic rationale into clear and inspiring copy for brand presentations.

Present work to key client stakeholders and attend key meetings throughout the project journey.

Provide outstanding service and build client confidence.

Maintain positive, long-term, and productive relationships with clients.

Project review

Review projects with the client to identify challenges and opportunities following the completion of project stages.

Review projects internally with team and identify areas for improvement within process.

Work with junior members of the Strategy team to improve productivity and skill.

Commercial responsibilities

Work with the Client Services team to identify and convert new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients.

Team management

Monitor industry trends that may be useful for the development of the team.

Brief mid-weight and junior strategists to support the team and project effectively and efficiently.

Responsible for annual reviews and development meetings of junior members of team, ensuring clear paths of action, feedback and career progression are discussed and implemented.

Identify gaps in skills on the team and work with the Head of Strategy to support in their development.

Deliver training programmes where skilled in an area that team members can learn from you.

Manage the workflow of the Strategy team and flag any concerns to the Head of Strategy.

Uphold a collaborative and productive environment, encouraging curiosity, independent and responsible thinking and focussed working practices.

Construct communications

Work with the Head of Strategy to develop and manage Construct’s own communications including the website, emails, and relevant social channels.

Be responsible for the creation of channel-specific copy and overseeing design brief and implementation across relevant platforms.

Where appropriate or requested, contribute to thought leadership content, to be shared across platforms.

Work with Client & Business Development Director on the creation of new case studies and Construct-specific marketing materials, as required.

Administration

Adhere to weekly submission of timesheets and refer to the studio schedule to effectively plan workload and priorities.
