ASSISTANT NIGHT DISTRIBUTION / WAREHOUSE MANAGER PERMANENT – (Monday – Friday 21.30 – 06:30) About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Assistant Night Distribution Manager to manage the night operations and support operations within the Distribution and Warehouse team after office hours. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a great family run company. Shifts Monday – Friday, 21:30 – 06.30. Candidates will have to be flexible to fit with business demands. What youll be doing You will be responsible for the day to day management of currently 25 members of staff and 2 x shift supervisors reporting to the Night Distribution Manager. Ensuring the smooth running of operations and that productivity and quality objectives are met consistently. Youll drive your team members to succeed and be responsible for their own growth and development, completing regular appraisals. You will ensure that stock is loaded safely and correctly onto the vehicles. Youll be living and breathing the culture of safety and will maintain an open and honest environment. Youll be responsible for ensuring all team members receive effective business communications daily and deliver staff engagement plans to keep your team motivated. Youll be proactive in seeking improvements in process/methods of operating. You\’ll be dealing with staff holidays, processing wages etc. About you You must have experience and a thorough understanding in disciplinary procedures. You must have previous experience in management. You must be computer literate and have experience in administration. You will need a keen eye for detail and accuracy. You will need to be adaptable. Youll have strong management experience to ensure the operation is continuously reviewing ways of working and improving efficiency.
