East Belfast Enterprise and Inspire Business Centre

We\’re looking for a new volunteer Chair to lead the merger of our two local enterprise agencies in Belfast with the experience needed to guide board members and the organisations through their exciting transition.

Who we are: East Belfast Enterprise (EBE) and Inspire Business Centre are companies limited by guarantee and registered charities trading in greater east Belfast, providing support to individuals and small businesses, primarily in the start-up stage of the business life cycle. They operate within the same Westminster constituency and by combining their resources will be better equipped to expand their contracted service provision, thereby increasing the range and number of economic impacts on the communities they serve.

What we do: They offer a range of flexible industrial and office units, and a variety of workspaces like hot desks and serviced offices as well as virtual office services, room hire. They both connect businesses with regional support programmes like Go Succeed, and provided tailored advice to prospective and established entrepreneurs.

What we\’re looking for: We\’re looking for an individual as passionate as we are about our mission, with strong strategic and leadership skills, and with the experience needed to guide board members and the organisations through their exciting transition. They will need strong meeting management abilities with the ability to engage stakeholders and build consensus.
