We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Car Systems Design Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the design of engine systems, fuel systems, gearbox cooling systems, and integrating these into the entire car package. You will contribute to the concept, detailed design, supporting documentation, and problem resolution for assigned components.
Responsibilities

- Support design work with the concept and aerodynamic departments to maximize car systems impact on overall performance.
- Ensure all design work is fit for purpose and take ownership of the quality of parts designed.
- Complete detailed design of assigned car system components according to planned deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and support team members to meet targets.
- Maintain good relationships with other departments.
- Contribute ideas for performance improvements and identify potential issues.
- Stay updated with latest technical developments applicable to your work.
- Ensure designs are released on time and meet specifications.
- Maintain a flexible attitude towards attendance and work requirements.
- Work professionally and proactively promote a positive image of the team and sponsors.
- Work in a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
- Extensive automotive design experience, preferably in F1.
- Knowledge of metallic materials and treatments.
- Understanding of composite materials and their production.
- Proficiency with CATIA, Siemens NX, or similar tools.
- Strong initiative and innovation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel 10-20%.
