We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner & Technical Records to join our Technical / CAMO team, based in Hampton Wick.

You’ll be responsible for effective planning for the One Air Fleet of Boeing 747 & 777 Cargo aircraft using the AMOS Maintenance Information System. You will ensure that all Line and Base maintenance is planned accurately and efficiently, working closely with Maintenance Control, Technical Service Engineers, and Material Controllers to ensure all maintenance on the Aircraft is planned within the specified downtime, and associated tooling/spares are provisioned.
Additionally, you will ensure related transactions are actioned accordingly as part of the reporting back procedure, ensure compliance with the CAME, regulated information, and procedures, and continually review processes for improvements such as quality and efficiency.
Your responsibilities include inputting aircraft sector record pages, reviewing and reporting back on completed work packages in the One Air AMOS system, and controlling all current and historic technical records and airworthiness data for the fleet of Boeing 747-400 & 777 Cargo aircraft.
Your key responsibilities:
Maintenance planning
- Review maintenance forecasts and plan scheduled maintenance efficiently, considering cost and time.
- Plan all maintenance rigorously, ensuring spares and resources are available.
- Create line and base work packages and work orders using AMOS, detailing maintenance tasks.
- Issue work packages and work orders to Part 145 MROs with clear instructions.
- Ensure paperwork from MROs is correctly certified and reported back in AMOS.
- Update aircraft records and logbooks after maintenance.
- Prepare and archive completed work packages and work orders.
- Be flexible and proactive with changing priorities.
- Contribute to process and system improvements.
- Ensure all paperwork is correctly certified and returned to CAMO after maintenance.
- Send work packages to MROs post-contract.
- Perform record audits of subcontracted organizations.
Records maintenance
- Input hours, cycles, defects, and other data into AMOS.
- Raise work orders, MAREPS, and PIREPS.
- Report maintenance events and update oil uplifts.
- Clear daily work packages and update logbooks.
- Manage current and archive records, ensuring accuracy.
- Support audits and paperwork preparation for ARC renewal.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Distribute aircraft utilization reports.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance planning, supply chain, and other teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and teamwork.
Key skills, knowledge, experience required:
- Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance planning, including scheduling and forecasting.
- Knowledge of Critical Task and CDCCL fundamentals.
- Part M/CAMO experience within aviation.
- Expertise as an AMOS key user.
- Understanding of Part CAMO regulations, record retention, and aircraft weight and balance schedules.
- Knowledge of MSG-3 Maintenance Task Analysis.
- Flexible, proactive, and dynamic approach.
- Commitment to professional development.
- Industry knowledge, especially airline operations.
About you:
You should have at least 3 years of experience in maintenance planning within the aviation industry, with a solid understanding of Part M/CAMO regulations, critical tasks, and record management. You are proactive, inquisitive, flexible, and possess strong communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
