The Role of the Field Service Engineer – Plant Machinery
Carry out scheduled inspections and routine maintenance across a fleet of plant equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues onsite during single visit service calls
Work on both light and heavy machinery including excavators and dump trucks
Complete all necessary paperwork and service reports accurately
Operate safely in a variety of environments including work at height and under machinery
Service customers within approximately a 25-mile radius from your home
The Ideal Person for the Field Service Engineer – Plant Machinery
NVQ Level 3 qualified in Plant Maintenance or similar
Strong hands-on mechanical engineering background
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with construction or plant machinery
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
