Job Description.

Advance TRS are working in partnership with a leading engineering consultancy renowned for delivering some of the UK’s most high-profile and complex projects. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to recruit a geotechnical design engineer to support major schemes including HS2, and other exciting infrastructure developments.

This is a great opportunity to join an established team with a strong mix of experience, within one of the country’s top consultancies.

Required experience.

– Degree qualified in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, with ideally with a masters too

– Prior Geotechnical experience gained whilst working for another consultancy on major projects

– Either chartered or working towards chartership

– Experience of Geotechnical design (earthworks, soil, and rock slope, retaining structures, foundations, excavations, basements and ground improvement)

– Experience in using several different Geotechnical and FEA software (WALLAP, SlopeW & Plaxis etc)

– 3D soil interaction and tunnelling experience
