A dynamic and forward-thinking organisation is embarking on a major ERP replacement project, with the selection process set to complete by the end of the year. With over 100 major systems across the estate and a best-of-breed approach to technology, this role places a strong emphasis on the need to understand their master data and the mapping of data flows. This is a pivotal time to join a business that is investing heavily in its digital transformation journey.

Role

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the development and management of our enterprise solution portfolio. Reporting to the IT Director, this role will define architectural blueprints, assess technology trends, and ensure alignment with business objectives. You’ll be responsible for interpreting business needs, analysing current and future state architectures, and guiding governance and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mapping current Master data and data flows
  • Designing future-state solutions aligned with strategic goals
  • Leading technology assessments and identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners
  • Supporting the ERP replacement project and broader transformation initiatives

Location: Middlesbrough, 2 days in the office required

Salary: Up to £75,000

Benefits: Bonus up to 20%, car allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • TOGAF certification or similar
  • Proven experience in solution architecture and enterprise-level projects
  • Strong understanding of integration, network, and security architecture
  • Ability to work with outsourced development teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid UK driving licence
