Description: XCL are working in partnership with a leading interior fit-out and bespoke joinery specialist who are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their growing commercial team. The company delivers high-quality refurbishment and interior fit-out projects ranging from £25k to £3m across various sectors including retail and commercial environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Estimator looking to develop their career further within a company that offers a supportive environment and progression opportunities. Job Responsibilities: * Preparing tenders for interior fit-out, refurbishment and bespoke joinery projects. * Working from drawings and specifications to produce accurate cost estimates. * Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. * Ensuring tenders are completed and submitted within agreed timeframes. * Collaborating with the project management and design teams to ensure clarity of scope and alignment with budget. * Presenting estimates clearly and professionally to both internal and external stakeholders. * Managing multiple projects and prioritising workload effectively. * Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail throughout the estimating process. Job Requirements: * Experience in a similar Estimator role within interior fit-out or refurbishment is essential. * Understanding of bespoke joinery and experience pricing from first principles would be a strong advantage. * Commercial/Retail fit-out experience is highly desirable. * Excellent communication and analytical skills. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with MS Project is beneficial. * Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. * Project management knowledge would be an advantage. * Full UK driving licence preferred
