We’re working with a leading public sector organization seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their established engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful, large-scale systems that impact millions, with cutting-edge technologies and a supportive team environment.
Tech Stack & Role Overview:
- Core Java (full-stack development)
- Oracle (PL/SQL, DB design, optimisation)
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git)
You’ll be involved in end-to-end development, from requirements gathering to deployment, helping to improve and optimise mission-critical systems.
Location & Working Pattern:
- Remote-first (1 day per month in-office, UK-based)
- Office locations: London, Birmingham, Sheffield
Security Clearance:
- SC Clearance required – or you must be eligible and willing to go through the process.
Contract Details:
- Day Rate : £465 per day
