This is a replacement consultant post at North Middlesex Hospital focusing on asthma. The role involves inpatient and outpatient care, with flexibility for service development based on experience. There are opportunities for clinical research, teaching, and service enhancement. We seek respiratory medicine consultants dedicated to excellent patient care and service development. Our team is friendly and dynamic, and we\’d love to welcome you.
Main duties of the job
- Provide clinical care and leadership in outpatient settings
- Conduct weekly asthma clinics
- Manage general respiratory clinics including nurse-led clinics
- Participate in radiology meetings and MDTs
- Opportunities for EBUS, bronchoscopy, and pleural procedures
- Manage incoming referrals and inpatient respiratory ward
- Supervise junior doctors
Participate in the hospital\’s acute medicine weekend rota.
