This full-service US firm in London has a long-standing commitment to IP and has a leading team of lawyers in the US. The firm represents a number of global multinationals across a range of sectors and the London office, has benefitted from access to and referrals from these clients. The firm covers the full remit of IP, the lawyers have won awards and are listed in the leading directories for IP, with almost 30 lawyers listed in WTR1000. The firm understands IP and has a flexible fee structure.

This is a first-time appointment in the London office and the firm is looking to recruit an IP litigation partner or team to develop an IP disputes practice. The litigation practice has experienced huge success and is now one of the largest teams in the London office. There is a team of close to 50 lawyers in London and the partners attract work from around the globe and benefit from the global network.

A cultural fit is very important; the London office is quite informal, non-hierarchical, and collaborative. In terms of global hierarchy, the wider firm does have an ‘intimate’ management team which is heavily invested in London.
