Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and orchestrate customer value through complex deal making, tackle our customers' major business challenges, and accelerate your career growth by leveraging cutting-edge solutions to drive our most transformational projects. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with local leaders and sales teams: Establishing strong partnerships and driving a consistent Cross-CSA approach aligned with company strategy, applying regional strategies to meet customer needs. Engage with SPT and Area MCAPS sales teams to ensure alignment.
- Driving customer engagements: Bringing impactful technology and industry insights into customer interactions, closing deals, and coaching others internally. Leverage deep sales and delivery experience to drive consultative sales and build trust with C-level executives.
- Leading strategic initiatives: Influencing Microsoft's strategic direction across markets, leading virtual cross-organizational teams on strategic projects, and deploying high-impact solutions that enable digital transformation and deliver business value. Use CSA assets and consulting IP to facilitate customer transformation.
- Participating in sales processes: Engaging in sales planning, orchestration, and deal closure using Microsoft’s sales methodology. Shape and sell custom consulting solutions that maximize Microsoft investments.
- Deal coaching and cross-team collaboration: Providing deal shaping insights, encouraging cross-area learning, and working seamlessly with the wider account team to strengthen relationships and drive consumption, with a focus on AI integration.
- Continuous development: Building sales expertise, learning about transformative solutions, and investing in personal development to support customers and the Microsoft team.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in solution-based selling across one or more CSAs, effectively positioning cross-CSA offerings and aligning customer needs with our portfolio.
- Experience selling into commercial or public sector accounts, understanding industry trends and challenges, and tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including navigating C-level relationships and articulating value propositions.
- Exposure to consulting or solution architecture practices, collaborating effectively with technical teams to develop customer solutions.
- Experience managing digital transformation sales cycles, driving value conversations, and positioning solutions aligned with transformation goals.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field with proven industry sales experience; or a Master’s Degree with a strong background in technology sales within relevant sectors.
- Substantial experience in consulting solution sales and delivery is highly desirable.
