The successful candidate will manage contracts and ensure the smooth delivery of a long-term re-roofing project within a live NHS environment.
You will be overseeing a multi-year re-roofing program across NHS facilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

You will be overseeing a multi-year re-roofing program across NHS facilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage roofing contracts from pre-construction through to completion.

Act as the key liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, addressing any delays or issues.

Coordinate with site supervisors to manage workforce, materials, and logistics.

Prepare and manage project documentation including reports, valuations, and programme schedules.

Attend client and progress meetings, ensuring strong communication and issue resolution.

Ensure that all contractual obligations and quality standards are being met consistently.
Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in roofing or similar construction sectors.

Strong knowledge of pitched roofing systems and refurbishment works on NHS or commercial buildings.

Excellent understanding of construction contracts, health & safety, and compliance requirements.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.

SSSTS or SMSTS, and CSCS card.

Exceptional organisational, negotiation, and communication skills.

Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Requirements

Experience managing works within live NHS or healthcare environments.

DBS clearance (Basic or Enhanced) preferred due to healthcare setting.
