Thames Water is recruiting a passionate Electrical Project Engineer to help shape the future of water and wastewater treatment in the Thames Valley and surrounding areas. Join us in AMP8 to modernise Treatment Works, deliver essential services, and protect the environment for future generations.

What you’ll be doing as an Electrical Project Engineer

  • Assessing project briefs and technical information to support risk mitigation and maximize value before pricing.
  • Working within multi-disciplinary project teams following delivery procedures.
  • Delivering project outputs on time, within budget, and to quality standards through planning and resource forecasting.
  • Developing capabilities and ensuring continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid role based at Clearwater Court, with 2-3 days a week on-site or in the office. Ideally, candidates should drive; however, applications are welcome regardless of driving status. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What you should bring to the role

  • A degree or HNC in electrical engineering.
  • Understanding of developing technical project solutions related to electrical scope.
  • Knowledge of project delivery in process industries.
  • Strong awareness of health & safety, especially CDM regulations.
  • Understanding of electrical processes and equipment, including LV and HV installations in water-related industries.
