Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (PQS)
Location: Warrington
Salary: £40,000-£55000 + additional benefits including flexible working hours.

Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a role within a business that puts an emphasis on building its culture and it’s business? Seeking a position where you can gain exposure to the full life cycle of quantity surveying (pre and Post contract), where you won’t be pigeon holed into carrying out the same tasks? Looking for a role outside of a large corporate environment, but still offering a diverse and interesting workload across a variety of industries? The Company
Aleading SME design and construction consultancy in Warrington who are expanding their team with the hire of a Quantity Surveyor to work alongside MRICS qualified and highly experienced professionals, looking to coach and mentor their next Quantity Surveyor (PQS).
They hold multiple accreditations; RICS/RIBA/CIAT and have multiple offices in the North of the UK, employing circa 60 staff. It is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multidisciplined team (alongside design, building surveying and project professionals) on a range of major design and build projects (hotel developments, million sq ft industrial sheds, education, retail, leisure etc).

Duties include:
- Engaging in meetings with clients, collaborating within diverse professional teams, and overseeing project execution.
- Assessing financial aspects and providing guidance on alternative solutions.
- Supporting senior members of staff in contractual agreements and defining the conditions for construction projects.
- Overseeing cost factors related to construction techniques, material selection, project scale, and quality to maintain financial control.
- Preparing detailed tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and upholding quality standards across all project phases.
Role Requirements
Ideally you will have gained some experience in managing a variety of design and build projects (ideally within a consultancy). Ideally looking for someone with an all round pre and post contract experience. You must possess a strong worth ethic and be able to work within the office 5 days a week (unless on site/ client visits). As a learning member of the team it is important you are in an environment where you have support and are able to learn.
